GRATEFUL FOR ACE

For this Thanksgiving issue, weā€™d like to share reasons why weā€™re grateful for the ACE Club community.

  • In two meet-ups weā€™ve met Architects, Engineering, and Construction professionals who share the similar interest in connecting with others - E

  • Support from coworkers (shout out to my SLI colleagues for showing up and supporting!) - E

  • I come to each meetup with 1,000 super basic construction questions and you all patiently answer each one of them - S

  • Your collective passion for learning and developing your crafts, whether thatā€™s mechanical engineering, luxury home renovation or institutional architecture - S

Most of all, thank you everyone who is reading this newsletter for being a founding member of the best community for AEC professionals in the NYC area.

We have big plans as this year wraps up to make ACE Club programs bigger and better for all of you. Let us know what youā€™re interested in!

  • Development Team

  • Project Overview: The new luxury rental tower in Long Island City began construction in 2022 and is expected to open in early 2026, with 824 units and over 100,000 square feet of amenities.

  • Why itā€™s interesting: ā€œThe tallest, biggest, newest, bestā€ according to developer Lloyd Goldman. At 823 feet tall The Orchard is now the tallest building in Queens and the second-tallest building in New York City outside of Manhattan. Do you know which project takes the prize for #1?
